In a lively bar, a group of people in red and white jerseys gather around a wooden table, enjoying a beer and a soccer match on a large television screen. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, with some individuals clapping and others laughing. The scene captures a moment of camaraderie and shared enjoyment.

Watch the World Cup 2026 on the Thames at The Oystercatcher

Big screens, sharing plates, cold drinks, and floor to ceiling river views. The Oystercatcher is taking bookings now for England matches and key fixtures across the 2026 World Cup, with private rooms available for groups.

The World Cup is coming, and we're getting ready to host one of the most memorable summers on the riverside.

From 11 June to 19 July 2026, the tournament takes over screens, pubs, and dining rooms across the country, and The Oystercatcher will be right in the middle of it. We're already taking bookings for matches across the group stage and beyond, and given how quickly tables go for the big games, it's worth locking in your spot now.

What can you expect? Big screens showing every England match and all the key fixtures, a buzzing atmosphere with floor to ceiling windows that flood the room with light, and a menu designed for sharing while you watch. Think loaded plates, sharing boards, ice cold pints, and our cocktail list ready to celebrate (or commiserate) depending on the score.

If you're after a more private setup, our semi private spaces are available to book for groups of 10 to 50, and the fully private rooms can host up to 90 guests. Ideal for office World Cup gatherings, friends meeting up, or a proper occasion built around the football. We'll handle the food, the drinks, the screens, and the atmosphere.

England fixtures will be the busiest, so book early. Knockout rounds also tend to fill up well in advance, particularly if home nations are still in the competition.

The setting makes us a bit different from your standard pub football experience. You're watching the football with the London skyline behind the screen and the Thames flowing past the window. It's a way to enjoy the tournament that feels properly special.
